2. Overview

Ava is an AI-powered personal assistant, developed by Marcus Völkel exclusively for private and personal use. Ava is not used commercially. She is reachable by phone and email. This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed when using the website ava.ai4teams.de and when communicating with Ava by phone or email.

3. Website

The website ava.ai4teams.de is a static HTML page. It uses no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools, and no AI processing. Only standard server access logs are collected (IP address, browser type, access time). This data is not combined with other sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).

4. Phone

4.1 What happens during a call

When you call Ava, the conversation is conducted by an AI. Your spoken words are transcribed in real time (speech-to-text) to enable the conversation. You are informed at the beginning of the call and may end the conversation at any time.

4.2 What data is processed

Phone number (via Twilio)
Conversation content as text (transcript)
Name and contact details, if you provide them

Audio data is not stored. Speech recognition occurs in real time without recording the audio signal.

4.3 Data processing

ElevenLabs Inc. is used as a data processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR for voice processing. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is in place. ElevenLabs is GDPR-compliant. Transcripts are deleted at ElevenLabs. Audio data is not stored.

4.4 Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You give consent at the beginning of the call by continuing to speak after being informed about AI processing. You may withdraw consent at any time by hanging up.

5. Email

Emails to ava@ai4teams.de are read by an AI and may be answered by an AI. Name, email address, and message content are processed. Marcus Völkel is copied on replies. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

6. Storage and Deletion

Conversation transcripts and email content are stored in an encrypted database accessible only to Marcus Völkel. Data is deleted when the purpose of storage no longer applies. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
